H.A. Assignments Tuesday, Sept. 7
7th grade pd 1: worksheet #1,2, 3-25 odd
7th grade pd 2: study for ch. 1 Celebration tomorrow; 7:55 a.m. study session on Wed. for anyone interested - stop in office for a pass
6th grade pd 4: pg 21 #9-29 column
8th grade: worksheet - front & back
6th grade pd 7: study for Quiz tomorrow over ch. 1 through pg 15.; pg 29 #10-20 even, 25-30 all, pg 31#21-27 all
Week of Sept. 6-10
No school on Monday & Friday due to Labor Day and staff development. Mass on Tuesday at school.
7th grade pd 1: We will continue to review by working with fractions - add/sub/multiply/divide.
7th grade pd 2: On Tues. we will review for the ch. 1 Celebration on Wed. I will be at school by 8a.m. for any students wanting to come in to review before the test. Please stop in the office to pick up a pass if you come in early. On Thurs. we will begin ch. 2 looking at exponents & scientific notation.
6th grade pd 4: On Tues. we will look at expanding numbers using powers of 10 and on Wed. multiplying whole numbers & decimals. Plan on a quiz Thurs. over ch. 1 up through pg 15.
8th grade: Ch. 2 is next - looking at the relationship between ratios, percents, & proportions. No Celebrations this week! All students received their memorization sheet for the year and should begin memorizing these. The first memorization test will NOT be before the last week of Sept.
6th grade pd 7: Plan on a quiz on Wed. over ch. 1 up through pg 15. The rest of the week will be spent on dividing - whole numbers & decimals.
