Well hello again for a new school year!!
I hope everyone had a great summer. I am very excited about the school year so far. I am working in both the 1st grade and in the 3rd grade. It has been alittle more difficult for me to learn all the names but I'm working on it. Helping with AR tests really helps me because then I see each student's face and see what they like to read. 3rd grade has taken alot of tests already!!!!!!!!!!!
We are still figuring out the STAR tests in 1st but hope to be done by this week. I have had fun looking thru the 1st grade indoor recess closet. Boy, some of the games have been used ALOT. I'm hoping Mrs. Grabe finds some new ones for us to play.
Most of you know me as I've been at St.Augustin for about 15 years. But maybe some are new. I live in Urbandale with my husband who works for the DNR. He is a photographer which is kindof exciting when I go along with him. I have 4 children. Two of them are married and two are not. They all live here in the DesMoines area so I am very blessed indeed. My step-daughter lives in Chicago so she's the only one we miss alot.
