It’s OLD ,it’s NEW!
Third, fourth and fifth grade are helping me reclaim a section of the south playground by turning it into a play area.
This area was unusable but with some effort, is now on its way.
We have already trimmed the trees and hauled out 1,000 pounds of concrete to be recycled!
The tree trimmings will be recycled by chipping them and using them as mulch.
I asked the students if they could come up with a name for this new space.
We had many good ideas to choose from.

“Royal’s
Park”
We also decided to call ourselves
“The Royal 345”
The Royal 345
will be working on it throughout the year.
The 345’ers
will be responsible for keeping Royal’s Park clean and maintained.
We will be planning, designing and constructing future things like benches and tables and plants of course.
The 345’ers want to make this a safe and beautiful park for everyone to enjoy!
