Making an Impact in the Fight Against Hunger
St. Augustin families, staff, and parishioners had the privilege to contribute to feeding the hungry by packaging meals for Meals from the Heartland during our annual Catholic Schools Week service project. Our goal was to package 20,000 meals and donate $4000 to Meals from the Heartland to cover the cost of the meals we packaged. Thank you to everyone who was able to take part in this service project, we couldn't have done it without you! Your contributions truly make a difference in the world's fight against hunger. We would like to extend a very special thank you to Blue Compass Interactive who generously donated towards our project to cover half of the costs.
Thank you to parent volunteers, Shawn Konrad for coordinating this event with Meals from the Heartland, Angie and Jason Mathiasen for organizing the post project potluck, and Michele Ogle-Riccelli, for capturing photos of our service at work.
