St. Augustin Catholic School News

Did you know that the school's Scrip program makes money that is used each year to defray tuition increases? Each year, the Scrip program contributes funds per student to help offset tuition. For the 2018-2019 school year the Scrip program has contributed $100 per student towards tuition for the year.  Thinking about that in real-time, that means the $150/student tuition increased recently announced but the Board of Education would have been $250/student without Scrip's revenue.

Scrip is an easy way to earn money for the school and yourself; the rebates you earn by purchasing Scrip cards are split 50/50 with the school if you earn more than $20 in Scrip rebates each year. Once you create an account on, you can purchase eCards, that are emailed to you to use at any time. Using the MyScripWallet app on your mobile device makes it even easier: your cards and balances are stored on your phone for easy shopping any time you need it. The mobile app has another benefit: because it is so quick and easy to use, you can purchase Scrip on your phone while you're standing in a particular store. The MyScripWallet takes the guesswork out of how much to buy because you don't have to purchase a physical card in advance. You can enter any amount from $5-$500 to purchase from a particular retailer while you're doing your shopping.

Purchase School Uniforms with Scrip

If you're not sure how you'd use Scrip, think about your student's uniform needs. Every St. Augustin School student needs a uniform shirt from Lands' End. Scrip offers a 16% rebate with Lands' End. That means, for every $100 you spend on uniforms, you earn a $16 rebate ($8 for the school, $8 for your family). Without spending any additional money out of your own pocket, you've just earned $8 for the school because you used Scrip. Similarly, many other retailers that sell uniform pants offer eCards through Scrip, so just buy using Scrip to purchase your student's uniform, you've helped raise money for the school.
