Meet Mrs. Nank

I am excited to be starting my 28th year of teaching, my 9th at St. Augustin Catholic School. I  was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. I graduated from Wahlert Catholic HS, received my BA in Education from UNI and my MA in Educational Leadership from Clarke University.  

 What I enjoy most about teaching: The students’ enthusiasm and excitement for learning!  It inspires me.

About my family:  My husband Greg and I moved from Waterloo to Des Moines in May 2013. We are both originally from Dubuque. My husband and I have 4 sons. Max, his wife Katelynn, and theirs daughters, Addyson and Bobbi, live in Dyersville. Alex, his wife Sarah, and their daughter Layken, live in Waterloo. Peter attended Miami University in Ohio where he is studied business and played football. Go Redhawks! And last, but certainly not least, Charlie who is in college.

What I enjoy doing outside of school:  I love spending time with my family, especially my granddaughters! I enjoy reading, crafting, watching movies, shopping, and playing with our Yorkies, Ozzie and Vinnie.
