Meet Ms. Pedersen

Hello! This will be my second year teaching! I grew up in Urbandale, Iowa. I attended St. Pius X and Dowling Catholic High School. Then, I graduated with a degree in English Education from the University of Northern Iowa. 

What I enjoy most about teaching: The thing I enjoy most about teaching is the relationships I get to build with students and their families. I love getting to know everyone that steps into my classroom!

About my family: My family consists of my parents, one older sister, a brother-in-law, and a French bulldog named Finn! They all live in the Des Moines area.

What I enjoy doing outside of school: Outside of school, I enjoy reading books of all genres as well as  taking my dog on walks. I love listening to music and working on puzzles!
