Little Ways of Love-Service Opportunity (3rd-5th Grade)

This year, we are starting an optional volunteer opportunity for students in 3rd-5th grade! Students may volunteer for at least 5 hours by the end of the school year in order to be recognized at our end of the year awards ceremony! Students can ask Mrs. Sgroi for a copy of the form they need to fill out.

We are calling this opportunity “St. Therese’s Little Ways of Love” because St. Therese, who became a nun at the young age of 15, strived to show God’s love through small actions. She referred to this as her “Little Ways of Love.” Serving others in both big and small ways shows others (and ourselves) the love of God.

If students wish to participate, Little Ways of Love Service Hour Forms are due to the office by May 22nd. See Mrs. Sgroi with any questions you may have.
