We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for our students this year- The St. Augustin Volunteer Initiative Program.
About the Program
The St. Augustin Volunteer Initiative Program (V.I.P- Royal Edition) is a vibrant community initiative designed to engage our students in meaningful service opportunities while fostering strong connections with Dowling Catholic High School.
This collaborative program allows high school students to mentor and support younger peers, creating a nurturing environment that encourages leadership, compassion, and spiritual growth. Through various service projects and activities, V.I.P. aims to instill a sense of responsibility and community service in our elementary students, enriching their educational experience and helping them develop a lifelong commitment to giving back.
This group will be open to students in grades 4-8 and will provide scheduled opportunities for service hours.
The younger students (grade 4-5) will be awarded a certificate at the end of the year for their service hours. The middle school students will be able to use these hours towards their requirements for Religion class.
Together, we seek to provide structured opportunities for our students and build bridges between generations, empowering the next generation of leaders in our faith community.
